A description of Maxin MA3 High-powered nebulisator
Maxin MA3 is a high-powered nebulisator with a closed system for deposition of PERFERA airways. Maxin gives a dense aerosol with small particles and a low speed that makes that the medicine mainly being deposit in the lung.
A high circumference deposition in combination with a minimal lost of aerosol gives a short inhale time with a low dose of medicine
There is now demand for co-ordination when inhaling.
Maxin nebulases solutions and suspensions.

FUNCTIONSCONTROL
Flow per minute
Maxin should have a flow of about 4,5L/min. Connect Maxin to propellant gas with a pressure of 5 bar.
Control: The propellant gas should have a flow through the machine. If the flow is below 4 L/min the smoke formation apparatus air-whole (0,3 mm) is probably filled. If the flow is more than 5 L/min there is probably a leakage in the air supply.
Nebulisator
Maxin should nebulisated 0,25-0,30 ml/min. Fill 2 mm water in the base bottle = up to the line between the conic and the direct part of the base bottle. Assemble the top part of the base bottle with a light pressure on so that the suction pipe reaches to fluid.
Control: The suction pipe may not be deformed and should reach 1-2 mm from the base of the bottle. Connect propellant gas with a pressure of 5 bar.
Control: After 5 minutes nebulisatoring should at least 1 ml of the fluid be used.
Steps:
Clean the smoke formation apparatus, the fine channel
Screw off the lowest part of the smoke formation apparatus in the central whole (0,3 mm) with the propellant gas on. Take the cleaning needle in and out a couple of times.
Control: The flow of the propellant gas should be about 4,5 liters/minute.
Blow trough the lowest part with compressed air
Dirt may get stuck in the suction pipe or in the column in-between the two plates in the smoke formation apparatus. Blow compressed air up through the internally taped whole, through the column at the side and downward in the suction pipe.
Control: The distance between the smoke formation apparatuses plates should be 0,5 mm on MA2 and 0,35 mm on MA3.
Control: The plates should be parallel (MA2).
If the taken steps above are insufficient should the top part be returned to AJ MEDICAL.
